Weekly Inspiration - Interior Design, Gluten Free Cake Recipes, Plus DIY Homeware

It has been a little while since I shared a weekly inspiration post of interiors and recipes, I apologise to those of you who enjoyed the mix of ideas and images, so this week I wanted to share some new inspiration. I spotted a lovely interior and some inspiring diy, not to mention two lovely gluten free cake recipes to share.

This beach side retreat was designed by Whitstable Island Interiors who specialise in interior design with a speciality in holiday homes. Who wouldn't want to spend a week relaxing in such cosy surroundings.

It is fascinating the ingenious home decor ideas I see on the internet, you no longer have to spend lots of money to get the look, all it takes is a little ingenuity and some patience. It might mean upcycling a new piece or refinishing an old piece, a coat of paint or a little creative thinking as these clever diy experts have done below...

Above: You don't have to be a potter to create these really cute bowls. Emma from Gathering Beauty shows you how using air dry clay and a decorative stamp. I was thinking, you could make these in white and gold or white and silver and fill them with home made chocolates to give as hostess/teachers gifts at Christmas.

Ending with a couple of yummy gluten free desert recipes...
